Question about H11b

2918 Views 14 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  RedPhive
It seems like I can't find any of the major companies that carry the low beams (H11b). They all carry the H1 or the H11. I read a few articles about HID H11 conversion kits that could be easily modified to work in the H11b setup.

My question is about replacement bulbs like the "Genuine Autolumination Xenon Plasma Sets 100% Premium Quartz Glass"Headlights & Fog Lights

Will these work with little to no effort as low beams?

I specifically do not want HID. Just high output bulbs.
I had same problem trying to find h11b bulbs here and ended up having to order them from online. And no h11 bulbs are not the same they have a different connector

Where did you order them from?
Dang, I really really really want to stay away from ebay parts.
You can get them at auto part stores just special order
Thanks, I'll look there.
I still can't find anything other than OE style bulbs. I'm really looking for something in the 6-8000k range.
^^^
You can get brighter h1b bulbs which help but I don't think you can't get 6k or8k with out going hid.

I put silvia bulbs in my koup which are just standard bulbs but there about 25 percent brighter then the oem's

but there nowhere close to 6k *they did help alot thou*

Why dont you want HIDS? They will help you see SOO much better and the price difference isnt that huge.
I need to keep the car as close to factory as possible. I've spoken to my dealer and they sound like they are going to be very picky on the warranty if I can't return it to "stock"
I found a place in my city (Ottawa, Canada) that has the standard h11b from sylvania.
They also sell the bulbs on their website, 12$ seems reasonable.
First Call Auto Supply : H11B bulb
