So i am going to get the hids and audi style lights. i want to know which hid kit will match the led audi style lights the best. 4300k 5000k or 6000k? feedback and pics would be awesome. my graduation is coming soon so i need to know soon so i can get them ordered. thank you in advance.

Oh no this isn't gonna be good...

To answer your question Blue, it depends what LED strip you get but typically they are mostly white with a strong hint of blue in them so 6000k is probably your best bet.

I just installed the 6000k HID and in daylight it looks a bit bluer than my Audi lights and switchbacks, but can tell better tonight.

It all depends on what led strips you get. I've seen hyper white ones and some with super blueish tint

as far as i know, you can buy strips in 8000K, 6000K, 5000K, and 3500K. (althought most website don't state the K color of the strips, if you go to a decent website, they're gonna have warm white (around 3500K), neutral white (5000K). and blueish white. (6000K). most ebay strips are either 6000 or 8000

i didn't know you hated the forum.

in all honesty, i was gonna be mad when i saw the question, but it does make sense, we haven't covered color matching LEDs and HIDs in many threads. especially not the main HID thread. So i see this as a legit question.

My 6000K DDM HID with 6000K Fogs. The fogs don't have near the blue tint, but I've heard people say that before.

Agreed. I think what he is actually refering to is the fact that he hates the "Audi headlight LED" mod. Him and patyouknow hate that and how "slow" our Fortes are.

BFK weren't you the one who used to be asking everyone all the mods you should do to your car and how you wanted to put yellow accent everywhere excessively all over your car (super rice IMO) and how you wanted to race your buddies TC. What made you hate the car all of a sudden?

as i said before, Ebay, autozone, advanced auto, pep boys, etc. all those LED strips are 8000K.
