Radicar Intake for Koup

Call me a noob if you wish, but what is a power chamber intake? Has anyone bought/installed this product or know anything about it. I haven't found any info about it on the Radicar site. They have one in the Cerato/Forte sedan section for $600  and one in the Cerato/Forte Koup section with no price listed. I think it looks pretty cool, but I'd never drop that kinda money on an intake! I'm just curious about what the "power chamber" is and what it does.

God radicar is such a ripoff tho. They had some scuff plates I wanted... and they said they would charge $300 USD for SHIPPING! God I will never do business with these guys EVER. I just think their whole site is a huge ripoff.

If I'm wrong, some1 correct me but I think all the listed prices are in singapore currency. I believe there's a conversion calculator on their sitte... again, I could be wrong haha
And the power chamber is there to regulate and stabalize the air going into the engine. Really unnecessary if you don't have a turbo, which none of us have. At least that's my guess and a friend of mine explained it to me
looks really nice...but like aiden said is for show..if not fully equip.
I think all these CAI are rip-offs I made mine for $75 (Australian Dollars) and it works a treat.:)
Agreed. Even with the process it took b4 they came out with final product, we can buy parts needed and have our own CAI for under $100.... now with that being said, I havnt a clue how to make one so I will be going thru turbokits.com for mine hahaha and there's how they make money. But at least I know it'll be a solid product

Yeah good idea seeing that you are in the US, I would have but with the exchange rate and postage charge it was too dear at $A420 for me. I drove a 2.0 litre Koup today MMMM loved it but performance wise it wasn't near as responsive as my CAI Forte EX

If I knew how to make a cai for my car I would totally do it but since i don't, I have to buy one. I mean, if I got a list of parts and a nicley written instructions I could more than likely do it but id be weary of my work haha eventually ill purchase performance modifications but for now, I wanna make it look good. Haha gotta paint door handles and side mirrors black and then black spoiler just like jeff's and then lower it and new wheels and ill be done :)
See my post here http://www.forteforums.com/forums/performance-modifications/1364-my-cai-mod.html.
I will send you a private message, if I can make one anyone can I have no real mechanical experience but this was easy to make
