"Asterisk"




I have a 2014 Koup with UVO. If you mean the icon on the top center of the UVO Setup screen that looks like a red asterisk, I think it is supposed to be a gear icon. That is the fairly standard icon used to indicate a setup screen or button on many electronic devices.

You discribed it perfectly the only issue is it is on all screens radio, sirus, eservices, all of them.

I feel like it's trying to tell me something, i just have no clue what!!!!

I've only had my Forte for 43 hours so i'm still learning to speak it's language!!!

 

It means your safety features are on when connected to bluetooth. If you disconnect your phone the icon will go away.

Guess I will just look at the pretty red star!!!!!

 

Lol. Ya its actually good its on. There is a setting that will turn it off. But I dont know who wouldnt want the safety features. I think it will call 911 if theres an accident. That sort of thing.

I'm fairly sure that's correct. I go between my iPhone 5 and Samsung Note II (Note II is the only one with service, iPhone is essentially an iPod now) and I only get the red asterisk when my phone with calling service is connected via Bluetooth.
