I was just curious about removing badges. I have seen a few threads on here which describe how to go about removing them but I am curious as to what solvent or substance is best used to remove the excess adhesive. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Just rub it of with your fingers, it will come off. Little bit of polish afterwards...

Also A LITTLE bit of heat from a hair dryer will soften the glue a little bit

We all were..... and no offence intent! Enjoy your stay here!

Back to topic: I use GooGone (but was told it's bad for paint) and rubbing alcohol (IPA) to remove the last tiny bit of glue!

I ended up removing my Forte emblem to start. I used a credit card and blow dryer. To remove the excess glue I basically pulled off what I could with my fingers and then used a microfiber tower and some Turtle Wax bug remover spray. Worked just fine. I am debating on if I should remove the Koup emblem but now I think it looks a little odd with it left on. I want to remove the Kia emblems but I'm unsure what to replace them with. I like the standard K emblems I've seen floating about.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a set of rain guards for the Koup? I have a set for the Sedan if anyone is interested. Here is a link to the thread... http://www.forteforums.com/forums/kia-forte-sale/1402-kia-forte-sedan-sun-visors.html
