Returning Koup EX

When I bought the car recently there was a clause if I do like the car return it within X amount of time as long as I was not over X amount of KM.

Even with repairs to the struts there was a constant knocking and popping noise and going back and forth was not amusing.

Final touch was the creases in the Koup.

So this morning I exercised the return policy. No hassle at all. Second Kia returned for the same issue the CREASE. Full refund but have to buy another car from the company that has many dealerships.

Good thing they deal with Subaru as they were trouble free for me in the past. Going with the Impreza.

Think the Forte has potential but just not ready North America especially when there is not fix for the crease issue and Kia is aware of it.

I have to counterpoint and say that I have had minimal issues with mine - no crease problems, no noises anymore. I had a clunking sound but that was easily fixed. Suburu has their own share of issues too, and it has subpar ratings.
Enjoy the subie.
How much time/km did you put in your return clause?
I was looking at the Impreza Outback Sport, if you look at that lemme know what you think. I like that and the forte

As long as you steer clear of the WRX, Subie has excellent reliability. Usually right at the top.

Can you elaborate? I looked at his other posts and there is nothing there to indicate anything other than a normal forum member.
I wish that I could trade my Forte in, but I'm still upside down owing 18k. Being in school, I can't take the loss of trading it in. It sucks, but I'm just going to have to deal with creases all over my car.

I miss my DC5 more every day...
In the clause was 60 days 2500K. Normally they go with 30 days 1200K but was a Christmas/Holiday thing. Knowing most cars do have quirks the front noise can be fixed with urethane bushings instead of rubber. Dealer was going to have the urethane ones installed.

Overall I was impressed with the Koup but had to hum and haw at resale down the road and seeing the creases now the unknown was how much worse would it get and if Kia would come up with a fix or offer compensation to the owners.

As I said the Koup has potential and excellent bang for the buck. Kia just needs to address the crease issue and maybe make the bumpers a little more pliable.

If it were not for the creases hell ya! I would keep this Koup.
