I can't say for certain, but it doesn't look like a leak, but more like a spill. Are you the original owner? It also doesn't look like rust, more like a stain. If I had to guess, someone spilled a container of coffee.

 

Was going to say the same thing. Looks like coffee or cola to me, especially where it has pooled in the corners and looks a little thicker. I'd try cleaning it up with a general purpose cleaner. Even if it is rust, it will be easier to see where it is coming from if the rest of the metal is clean.

 

Hey guys finally found my leak will update with pictures when I get home.

 

if you click on the pictures here hopefully this can help someone in the future. passenger side vent is missing flaps and missing the cloth gasket that goes around the edges. so when it rains hard this leaks inside the vehicle. over time this water will fill those areas like it did in my car.

 

Yeah, you can clearly see the top flap is missing in these two pics:

Makes you wonder if it just fell out over time or was never there when assembled.

 

right. nova. i have since then ordered the parts for this both sides to be safe. do you know of anyway to change this besides taking the rear bumper off?
