I noticed yesterday after washing the car the markings on my driver door from the seatbelt fastener when I take it off, it hits the door with enough force to cause a small mark but now there are alot of small marks and its noticeable now. This would fix that issue. Where did you pick it up?

Not really bad looking at all! I ordered those MINI ones you pointed out to me, and they should be here within the next week or so. I'm hoping they look/are the same. Can't wait!

Do you need to order a specific model of bmw for the belt holder to fit our car? Ebay lists various models of bmw's for certain holders.

The Mini Cooper parts website shows one for mini's up to 2006 and Cabrio's up to 2009. Is this the one compatible with ours?

Red Rocket, yea it was a spur of the moment purchase its not really worth 50.. 35 i would have been happy with but not 50. i should have looked harder.

I bought the bmw seatbelt holder about a month ago but have since been in the hospital for a little over a month. I had my brother install the seatbelt holders today but for some reason when you pull the seatbelt it sometimes will snap off the end of the seatbelt holder or when you go to release the seatbelt to get out of the car it will not go all the way back because it gets stuck on the seatbelt holder. I bought the ones from ebay that were for all models of bmw's like KoupKid209 did. Anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong?

I have the mini-cooper one, and I have the same problem. The belt gets caught when putting it on and the piece breaks away (not broken...it snaps back on). What I've been doing lately is unhooking it from the holder when I put the belt on and when I'm done with the belt I slide it back onto the holder.
But with the seat belt on the holder on the passenger side, there is no more of the constant banging of the seat belt on the side knob.

I have the same issue with the part snapping off and the seatbelt not going back into it's natural place, but I learned to deal with it. I mean it's not made for the forte koup and it's still a hell of a lot easier to grab the seatbelt. Plus no more banging noise from the passanger side :)
