SO yesterday I took my little car to the carwash..
and I've done this many times with many cars...
but this time I came home and realized that there is a big mark on one of my wheels WTF!!!
 There is a mark and a place where alittle chunk of rubber is missing on my tire.. I mean can people be that careless??!?!?
I had to use a bunch of touch up paint on my wheel and I'm just mad cause I didn't see it tell I got home of course I can't prove now that it was them.. anyway NEVER AGAIN

I guess I wanted to warn everybody else that some carwash places machines seem to not like are wheels SIGHS,
thanks for reading and becareful

Indeed, always best doing it yourself by hand. If you don't have a place to do it, go to one of those diy stalls(bring a bucket and sponge).

I concur.. I never ever trust the people at the car wash with my car... heck I don't even trust my dealer washing my car, haha...
That really suck Rainyraven.

Thanks for the heads up!
How about a sob story...friend took his Corvette to one of those car washes that do it by hand. One of the washers next to his car was washing a van; using a ladder to get the top. The ladder got knocked over and landed squarely on his Corvette's hood. He got a new paint job out of it...you just never know...LoL!
rainy that really sucks , i feel like one of our kind was just wounded in battle,
i hope that it is fixable,, i try and always wash mine by hand but when i cannot i will ne very warey of car washs thanks for the heads up!!!
If you want something done right, do it yourself.
Always wash my own car. :p
first time with my forte....new car...I don't think and I used the brush inn the carwash.....result: my paint was scratched all around the car:mad:.....fortunately, they disappear with a wax and a compound !!!

lol I hear ya I saw that and was Like OH NO IT CANT BE!
but I did touch it up it looks alright but now I'm looking for another wheel cause I'm all picky about that kind of thing
Have you checked http://www.automotivetouchup.com they have touchup paint and probably have it for wheels too
today while i was driving with my windows down some asshole pulled up to me and threw a soda straight into my car all over me and my interior my whole interior is sticky all ruined and I have cloth seats. then he took a quick turn and i made a u turn ahead and tried to find him but he was gone. now i spent the alst 2 hours cleaning my whole interior. :(
Ohh thats really crappy, I can't understand why some people are such Asses
sorry that you did not catch those guys..
hope you got your car all clean man I'm just beside myself that there is somebody out there that would even think to do that kind of thing.
Out of curiousity, how did a "touchless" carwash jack up your wheel and tire? Too much PSI at the nozzles?

If so, the car wash is deff at fault and your car wouldn't be the only one jacked up.

I use the touchless kind all the time for quick washes without issue.

no it looks like when they drove the car up on the ramp that there ramp might be to narrow for these wheels
or B. the guy driving the car up the ramp was just careless..:(
so there is a place right on the lip of my wheel where you can see it was metal against metal, and what ever it was also took a little bit of rubber off the tire and as a final reward to me for going there on the same side of my car there was a scratch which I had to touch up with paint Sighs..

thats why I was so mad now I'm just telling others to know to watch out for those wheels some places might damage the wheel
hay rainy is the wheel damaged if so check out rimpro.com they can fix wheels i think?
