Sunroof Relay

I just ordered this relay hoping that it works as stated. I believe shark racing is selling the same one but for 20 dollars more. I am wondering if anyone has installed one or has any advice on how to go about doing so.

Its for the koup so i am hoping it has detailed instructions but i like to come to the forum since there are some really knowledgeable people hear and i like the opinions.

So if there is someone out there who knows what to do please post.

Im sure its just a simple plug and play. But let us know how it works. I like the one touch close and auto close with the engine off.
Did that come stock? I have an US koup and it doesn't do anything but go back auto
Here is how to change it, I would just be sure that it is a Direct Replacement to the original.

Open your sunglasses holder, remove the 2 screws inside, and the screws that hold the board in, and reverse with the new one.

It would be nice to have the auto-close feature when you turn off the engine. Let us know how it works for you...Thanks!
Will post and explain if it is a simple as blackwater mentioned. It wont arrive for a week or two. Hope it works a described, i hate having to remember to close the roof, left it open once so far, no rain so all was fine but still an pain.
Very interested in this as well. Keep us updated....
I wonder if anyone makes something like this for the windows? I know the alarm companys have window modules, but i want something to work with factory, so when i turn the car off, windows, sunroof, all close!

Wishfull thinking? ??
Have you received this yet?
Have you received this yet?

OK sorry for the wait, but the good new is....... I received it yesterday after work!!!

Now on to the bad news, well sort of. It wasn't as simple as removing the map lights and install, it is in fact replacing the relay next to the motor for the sun roof. With this being said I have yet to install, bit of a bummer.

To install i must remove the headliner to get to the motor unless someone has a nice easy way of getting to it. I believe on the koup its behind the rood if i am not mistaken. Planning on having the roof trim dropped in a month or so to install deadener and audio system so may wait till then.

Can post pictures if you think that may help, also the relay is a lot bigger in person, no way it was going behind the map lights.
Hum, thats odd? I though for sure they relay was right under the switch, are you sure you ordered the correct one? On shark racing they have 2 different, 1 for the sedan and 1 for the Koup.
That is a bummer. hope it works out for you. If you end up having to drop the headliner just to swap it out, it better be worth the trouble! I was really hoping it would be an easy swap out...

Can you scan the instructions that came with the relay and post them on here for us to review?

Thanks!

Haha I would be more than happy to but the small problem is they are completely in Korean, so if you can read it then I will defiantly post just so i can get a clear understanding but from the looks of it mu suspicion is correct and it goes on the motor.

Also blackwater, i double checked and i have the one for the koup. I made sure before purchasing since i have made that mistake before.
ok, just had to be sure, ive done it too...btw its blackwatch :)
So in order to access the motor, do you need to remove the headliner? Or can you go through the sunglasses compartment?
To access the Switch under the sunglasses holder, the motor is under the headliner.
^So in order to instal the relay, the headliner must come off. Is this correct?
How did this work out? Were you ever able to install it?
I have yet to install mine but i am waiting to get it done.
Am curious to see if anyone has had any luck yet with this.
