Swap front bumper Sedan > Koup Done!

Hi all!

I bought everything (except the upper front grill: I tought both models were the same) to swap my front end to the Koup version, including the clip from the Koup model.

I have problem with thoses clips. When I tried to put everything together, well...

Do I have to adjust thoses clips?

Is there any difference between the parts of the Forte sedan or Koup with years of production?

Thanks for helping me to get my Forte sexier than ever!

It's not perfect but I like it! Just the bumper and the Koup clip. Yes, I need the front grill... Thanks for your help!

How much did it cost you to buy the bumper and all the parts plus paint?

Looking good! Wish I could do that, too.

Apart from appearance, what don't you like about the sedan grille with the Koup bumper?

I'm from Quebec so my numbers aren't the same but I'll tell you anyway!

All my parts are brand new.

Bumper on primer: 100$ -> found on Kijiji.com (like a Craiglist, I guess)
Paint: 300$ -> from a friend who own a paint/repair shop (I saved taxes)
Fogs: 130$ -> eBay (free shipping and come with 2 lightsbulbs but there the same from the sedan version)
Lower grill: 90$ -> eBay (free shipping)
Koup bumper clips: 15$/each -> dealer
18 screws (to hold fogs+grill): 10-15$?

That a bit expensive but the look worth the price. I guess you can find a complete bumper at a salvage yard for less but it's a rare piece since the Forte is a recent car... and they are more scraped in the front so the bumper don't survive...

Koup and sedan grills are different from beind. My grill is hold in place with 6-8 screws in the sedan bumper. Mine is actually hold by 2 because the holes in the bumper aren't at the same place. The fitting is not 100%.

And the chrome get the eye attention instead of the Koup parts :crying2:

You will have to change the fender linings too if u swap the fenders too
Oh man! You did it all the way! I'm glad I didn't do the fender swap since it has to be modified!!

I'll live with the front bumper not perfectly fit, I guess! But it's barely noticable if I don't point it lool!

Great job, mate!
Hey did you replace the fender on your own and if so how hard was it as I am attempting to do so. Any information would be greatly appreciated
