SX inserts 3 holes covering?

2610 Views 19 Replies 10 Participants Last post by  Copperhead_Koup
i have been thinking about taking off the inserts and people on here say there are 3 holes on each insert.

so, is there anything i can hide the holes from being exposed without having to paint the inserts black?

some kind of rubber or something to plug up the holes?

thanks.

Are you talking about the badges? If so, then it sounds like our best bet would be to remove them, paint them black and put back on.
im actually talking about when you remove the silver inserts..there are three holes exposed. just wondering if there was a something to hide the holes.
thanks
you can possibly find a cap that can lock in. other than that, i dont know of anything that will cover or fill the holes.

maybe spray paint the screws that held the inserts in black and then put the screws back in? idk
hmm, maybe..
thanks arinesmith and Aidensgrand

Yeah if you can find some caps to fit and stay in there. If not, get some small bolts to put in the holes and put nuts on the back side so they stay secure then put some caps over the head of the bolt. Just an idea:cool: The holes aren't that noticeable unless up close (-10ft) or looking for them.
i was thinking about that.
i thought it would be super noticeable. lol.
thanks jeff613

i think the wheels would look cooler without the silver inserts making an all black look.
Yeah they do look nice with or without the inserts! It's like having another set of rims for free!
definitely. i'll probably try it one of these days.
I've got a Kopperhead as well, with the Silver/Blacks. I may have to look into this too.
You can barely notice the holes, I took mine off the first day I got the car, just leave em empty
thanks.
Paint them!! I have nothing but good comment on mine!! Much better than silver. You could black them too!!
plastidip the silver inserts black? Thats what i might do
i was thinking maybe trying to get a black rubber cork that would fit and just put it in the hole (yea yea, thats what she said), and possibly use thread screws that held the original plastic inserts in place into the cork as more reinforcement....or just paint the covers black and put them back on haha
^sounds good havoc_32!! thanks
I agree with K.I.A. I removed mine a while back and the holes are hardly noticeable... And I'm ridiculously picky with anything to do with my ride. You have to remove the wheels, but the inserts come off really easily. I'd say to just try it and see what you think. I bet you're surprised at just how sweet it looks.
thanks ryan! i want your koup!! someday ill try it out.
Why would you want to cover them? I think the holes give it a pretty unique look. They definitely don't take away from the look of the car, that's for sure.
^ yea.
