None so far. I'm waiting for my coil springs :D
Good find on the intake...shows to be for the 2.4L also. Wonder why Injen lists only the 2.0L?

The Takeda intake is also on Autoanything:

2010 Kia Forte Takeda Air Intake, Takeda Cold Air Intake Systems, Takeda Intakes

$250 for intake:rolleyes:, $3500+ for turbo:eek: -- and no more powertrain warranty...I think more intakes will sell than the turbo...LoL!!!
X2. While I would love a turbo it's just not feasible for me especially since this is my DD and I need that warranty. CAI is the way for me
Remember we also have a supporting vendor that sells a CAI also. Turbo-Kits is on this site frequently to answer any questions that might come too.

Probably because Injen only tested its intake on the sedan 2.0 whereas Takeda/aFe may have had a 2.4 available to test fit as well.

Does Turbo-Kits CAI have a cover for the original air box like the injen and the Takeda?

Nope, but they provide a bracket to relocate the ecm after the removal of the stock intake box and tubes.

:confused:Open the links in the first post and one of my posts...
Awesome, damn theres alot of cai now for the forte, thats a good sign that more goodies are on the way for the fortes, sweet!!
Summit Racing has the preliminary data for the Takeda intake -- due to ship 28 June for $249. You can go to their site and type in 4402P.

I like the sound of the CAIs but my question is what happens to the fuel economy with one installed?

It'll all depend on how much you like that sound vs. fuel ecomony ...LOL

I haven't noticed any difference when I had CAI's in the past in real world driving.
^^Ditto...LoL In truth most of the time you lose a little MPG...because you tend to open the throttle a little more when accelerating just to hear the intake!
FYI CAI voids your warrenty. so it doesnt matter if you go boosted or just a CAI, either way it voids factory powertrain warrenty...

Yeah I figured you'd lose a bit of MPG but if it isnt a drastic change could still be worth the sound :D

Nice thing about the CAI Bennykins18 if your dealer says it voids warranty you could always swap for your stock intake in a few minutes if you need service.
