Thinking about the forte as a DD... but some questions...

Engine upgrade will come quickly as this ThetaII engine is use in many car.
Right now, not mutch aftermarket available, but it's comming.
Forte is VERY different than your other choise!!!

I agree with Matemorh the engine in the Forte is used in many cars which should allow the aftermarket companies to grab hold of this vehicle and produce parts for it. As for your choice of cars aLLen, you have two similiar vehicles in the EVO X, and Subaru WRX. The G37 might post similiar performance figures to those but it is still a different vehicle. The Forte is closest to the EVO X and Subaru but the Forte in stock form won't compete easily with either. If your in it for aftermarket parts and getting the best bang for your buck you might want to consider the Forte. It has a promising engine and hopefully a good following which would make a great performing car with the right parts added to it.
