I live in jersey and it sucks really bad. But i am going to get it tinted anyways this coming weekend. All you have to do is go to your local police station and apply to be an auxillary police and they give u a card. so when u get pulled over and show the card..its all good!

I'm in nova scotia, we can't have tint either. I used to have a grand am imported from Connecticut with mirror tint on it. It was great, kept the car cool on hot days. Long story short my mother was driving it and she got pulled over. Cop waited behind and called for backup before approaching the car because he couldn't see in it. He gave her a ticket for the tint and rather than fighting it (it was legal because it was considered a "vintage" car when it was imported, or something like that), i just removed it from the front and didn't have to pay.

Yea you can't have tint on the front side windows but you can have any % on the rear sides and back window. I live in Jersey & got my tint done last week but I put 35 % on all the windows. I was actually considering going back to put 20 % on at least the rear and back window, if not all.
