After a few months finally able to get the transmission fixed on my 2010 Kia Forte Koup SX 2.4L 6MT Theta 2 MPi.

Wasn't able to DIY/wrench myself. Wife said she'd pay the for the repair if I leave it the eff alone after she got home from work & saw me removing the wheels & bought an engine support crane from harbor freight. She told me take that sh!t back & get your money. I'll pay the professionals. Yeah, i didn't want to oopsies sh!t anything engine & transmission related.

She went with OEM/Factory from Mike Shaw Kia. Which was perfectly fine with me cause that's what I was gonna buy anyways. F*ck buying pos Chineseium made/refurbished rust in a week 30 to 90 day warranty parts from Autozone, O'Reilly's, Napa & online parts stores that buy/use & sell sh!t from China & trash garbage quality.

Wasn't able to get any before, middle & after pics. Due to safety/lawsuit concerns/liability from the shop.

I did get my OEM parts back when I asked for them. $1,890.00.

They called us letting us know Kia/Hyundai discontinued the 2 line eccentric slave cylinder. Mike Shaw Kia sent the single (newer) eccentric slave cylinder instead. Reverse, 1st & 2nd gear is stiff/hard to shift into. It's like having to push a 1lb dumbbell. I have to pump the clutch pedal about 20x before I turn engine on. Doing this makes shifting into R,1st & 2nd alot easier. Called them & was told it's gonna take a week for it to go back to easy shifting & bleed itself out on it's own. I looked at the single line eccentric slave cylinder. At the rubber nipple cap. There's a nipple don't know if it's the bleed valve & use a pic & have someone pump the clutch pedal or if it's an auto self bleeder valve.

My PDF doesn't state. Online can't find info either. Wife said leave it alone cause I'll void warranty.

They were just gonna replace the eccentric slave cylinder. I wanted the other parts done as my Koup is at 95,000. 5,000 more & will be at 100,000 miles.

I'd have the chain & related chainnoarts replaced if I had another $2,000.

I had asked them ofthe CV axles needed replacements. They said no. They usually last the life if the vehicle if taken care of.
