What's the difference between the trip computer on an SX Koup vs. an EX Koup?
The EX only has TRIP A and TRIP B and the ability to turn the eco minder on/off.

The SX has an engine temp gauge, distance to empty, avg mpg...and probably other things that i'm missing. I have an EX so what do i know.
SX has eng. temp, average MPG, Instant MPG, Distance to empty, elapsed time, Trip A and B. I only ever use the Elapsed time for long trips. The Instant Economy isn't really all that usefull... It just makes me feel bad about the way I drive. lol The Engine Temp isn't very readable. there are no numbers, it's just a bar graph like the instant economy. DTE is remarkably accurate.
DTE is remarkably accurate.
!??!??! Mine just drop from 53 Km to flashing "----". Even then, I was not able to refuel more than 50L (aprox 13gal)

SX also have average speed!!
the average speed thing.... kinda makes me cry ......i drive fast-but due to city driving- i think since buying my car in june 2010 (for folks reading this way in the future) i am only avg'ing about 26 mph as my avg speed.....
bah. i need to spend a few hours on a race track to bring that avg up to make me feel like a speed racer :)
yea im with you on that one tampajoey. im like man, i know i drive faster than that. lol
I think once DTE gets below 50km left it starts flashing...
I have a 2011 5 door ex and i cant understand why it feels a little sluggish with the ecominder ON and a bit more responsive with it OFF my question is,if the ecominder is only a light to show when your driving as good as it gets WHY am i feeling this difference on or off???? can anybody answer this????
do you think i could put a sx instrument cluster in my ex?

It's just a light, it does nothing to the car.
could this be installed in a EX or no?
One member on here from another country (can't remember who or from where) installed an SX instrument cluster on his EX but he had all types of wiring problems and lights and gauges not working. It's possible to do it but it sounds expensive, problematic and not worth it.
MPG, Water Temp, and so on...

Well....just put a ScanGauge II in, or an Ultra Gauge. ScanGauge with a BlendMount goes just above the rearview mirror, and with a little clever wire-hiding disappears, but its there with the info you want. :D
