i'm new in here, but not that new, i've been reading in this forum from a while but now i decided to write my 1st post after i made few things to my Koup

did install Under car LED light kit , Red color , and also for interior same color as the dashboard .

so , i let you guys with the photos and waiting for the comments

P.S i need to wash my car , was a dusty storm the day be4

thx , and that was the idea with choosing red color! , now im waiting for vinyl for my car , also with red color

Not something I would do but looks pretty sweet on your ride. I think you're the first one to post pics of this on a Forte so far.

What did you use and how did you wire up the LED's in the footwells inside the car? This is something I've been planning on doing but haven't got to it yet.

I have the same lights on the footwells.. ill snap some pics ans show you how i did them... Total cost around 6 bucks shipped. At night it makes the car i love my lights...

I like the neons. Vinyl.. eh.

My thoughts on vinyl tends to be less is more a subtle little line or something I prefer to a big vinyl. Good luck with it though

so far we forte/koups are getting around the world,
i think we have russia, usa, canada, egypt, iran, korea, peru(?), south africa,
on this board......i am sure that i have left out a country or two.......

i just think it is cool as heck to have a car that i can drive around that looks fkng hot and i dont see around on the road everytime i turn around.........

and i love the fact that the car that we are all loving on- is actually turning out to be a world wide car...........

yea im with you on that hey ive owned a number of different cars kia optima ford escape vw jetta toyota corral scion xa now the kia forte and ive never had a problem with any of the vehicles i had exsp. not the kia optima or forte both ran good not a single problem if eveyone thinks kias suck so much let them ill drive um and blow them away lol i should just get a huge kia sticker on my car so eveyone knows that they got blown by a kia

Where did you drill to mount the side neons? I just bought a set of blue LED undercar neons, but I want to make sure I'm not going to hit a line to anything when I mount them.

They're should be a little lip right underneath. Mount it right there. How did you install the front and the back lights? Those are the hard ones... Koup or sedan??

It's the sedan. The Koup wasn't out yet when I bought my Forte. The front and back ones weren't a problem. I'm using the Plasmaglow flexible LED undercar kit, so they're super thin and light, basically just a strip with the LEDs on them. There are plastic screws that hold part of the bumper and a similar setup on the front, I was able to just sandwich the mounts between those so I didn't need to drill anything and it holds everything perfectly. But, when I went to mount the side neons the only lip goes at a 90 degree angle down, which I can't use because the way the clips hold that particular kit, they would be sideways and wouldn't be shining on the ground.
