I have the stock AM/FM with SiruisXM. Both work great with the new antenna.

Nope, just email them your year/model/color and they will send you a special invoice to use to purchase via paypal. Couldn't have been an easier transaction.

You'd probably have to repaint it. Willing to bet a copperhead sharkfin on a silver car would look silly (if i have the colors wrong it's because i'm outside on my Droid and it's sunny.)

I've noticed that up close, the damned thing looks ridiculous. Stand at least 15 feet from the car though and suddenly it's not so bad.

Can anyone recommend a smaller sharkfin that will be as easily installed? eBay has a few but a lot more work is involved.

Unfortunately dude, I kinda doubt it. If there WAS one that was easily installed, we wouldn't be using the VG MK II. Unless you're going for cosmetic purposes alone, I'm pretty sure any other sharkfin out there requires removing the ceiling inside and doing some wiring. I personally didn't even want to attempt such a thing given that the write-up on our site does NOT take having a sun roof into account. I've gotten used to my VG now, it is still sorta large when i get up close, but i've seen a few mercedes with sharkfins just as tall, though not as wide.

If I were to say I was going for cosmetic purposes only, would that change your answer? I don't listen to radio ever, and couldn't care less about any lost reception. I've seen Shark Fins online that are completely hollow and are cosmetic only but I am unsure if they would fit over the Forte nub. Was wondering if anyone else installed a different cosmetic only one?
