I got mine done at JDS Design Factory in Alhambra (near Pasadena in LA), CA for $140USD installed. Find a decal or sticker tuner shop--that's what JDS does.

That looks like paint to me...not sure vinyl will shine like that, and if it does...for how long.

Would love to see the result on your car. I'm thinking of doing the same thing! Post a pic when you can!

Interesting I was actually looking to do this or make a center area similar to the Koup. Basically trying to cover holes from removing the front plate. I was looking at doing vinyl on the roof, potentiall hood and front bumper or combination. Getting it photoshopped now to see if I really like it or not!

We make a vinyl that is used for car wraps so I am hoping to get a discount. We also have a guy here that said he could help me do the install. I think a vinyl roof and fronnt bumper area (sort of evoish) might be cool. I have been looking for pictures but can't find any. Would love to see a real good shot of the vinyl on roof!

I just got my car back from having the roof painted black. It's a pretty expensive mod, but I love the look. I chose paint over vinyl because I was concerned about the vinyl fading, staining, and staying dirty like Matemorh says, even though it was the more expensive way to go. I've also heard horror stories about vinyls getting small tears from flying debris and rocks while driving. Overall, I just thought that paint would hold up better in the long run. Might be worth looking into for anyone thinking about getting this done...
