not to jack this thread but would it be that bad to just cut the stock springs?

you can, but a number of people i've talked to have recommended against it cause the spring is physically shorter, appose to a spring kit where the spring is close to same length, but the spring is wound shorter. meaning you have less support on your suspension if you cut it.

you had me scared their for a min. if you do that wrong it fucks your springs up.
