Is it a serious question ?

OF COURSE YES !!!!!!!! Never do that ... !! :) The dealer won't know if it's a real KIA after :p Lol !!!

lol. Well now that the sarcastic response is out of the way..

The answer u are looking for is no. It would be the same as putting a sticker on your car... It's purely cosmetic and has no effect on your warranty.

Okay great, just wanted to make sure before i go ahead do something that would void it.
no this shouldent void the warrenty but adding power adders will do. that is what the local dealer told me.
what is a power adder??
nos, turbo, super charger thinks like this,
Even that will not void your warranty, except for on the items you modified...if they can prove that was the cause of the failure.

Throwing a turbo on is not going to put warranty coverage of your stereo in jeopardy for instance.
Unless you sccratch the paint while trying to get the kia emblem off... I think any "modding" can potentially void a part of your warranty... right?? :/
my dealer said if I install the redline quick-lift hood supports that my warranty would be voided... I don't understand that one at all... oh well.

Sounds like another dealership that does not know what they are talking about.
Dealers are full of shit anymore and as stated in other responses the only parts of the warranty that are voided are the parts you change..
you are correct nos would void engine and trans warrenty, but no the radio one but with out a engine it is hard to listen to the radio for more that 15 minutes
Magnuson-Moss Act

Read up on the Magnuson-Moss warranty act. Most car dealers and service techs are well aware of it despite their cheap attempts to fleece you out of your warranty easily.

Seriously beast this is the 3rd time someone has asked this though. Time to tell the mods to make it a sticky lol. ;)
For the Canadian Forte owners out there, speaking with a dealer rep, changing the bagging will void your warranty. There is no legislation in Canada that protects the consumer from warranty voids from the dealership as there is in the US, so be careful what you do to your vehicle during the warranty period as Canadian dealers can easily blame an exhaust leak on aftermarket strut bar. Unless you take it to court, kiss your warranty good bye.
okay , but the emblems are okay to change right??
or does bagging = badging?? not quite sure what you're talking about there
Well I just checked with the dealer and he said, no it will not void any warranty if you change the emblems, so I guess us Canadians aren't totally screwed
