Sorry to hear about the spot trouble. My first reaction was to try the Griot's clay.
Since the spots are probably some kind of calcium deposit, you might want to try a calcium cleaner like "CLR" (Calcium/Lime/Rust cleaner). You can get CLR anywhere - like a grocery store or a home center. I would use the CLR very carefully since I don't know how the paint/trim would react to this stuff. Try putting a small amount directly onto a cloth and starting at the center of the window. Clean a small area first, just to check.
