That's from memory, but I think that's pretty close.

It depends on what I'm listening to.

I find that when it plays MP3s it ups the bass too much, so I usually set it to -5, or sometimes lower. Leave the mid at 0, and the treble at +2.

For Sirius:
Bass +2
Mid 0
Treble +1

FM Radio:
Bass +5 to +10 depending on the station
Mid +2
Treble +1

Cd:
Don't know, never use it :p

And I always leave the fade alone.

As I've been reading a bit more about PBASS, my settings changed from

old:
bass +2
mid 0
high 0
PBASS low

to new:
bass -4
mid 0
high +2
PBASS medium

Makes a huge difference, just never go above 0 with bass if you have PBASS turned on, in my opinion at least.

The previous owner installed a bass in the trunk and removed it when he sold me the car.

He did a shit job and it was causing short circuit and it drained my battery while driving.

The dealer fixed it, but now it look like I have inexistant base.

I set the bass to 10 and its barely audible.

What is the pbass everyone talking about? Maybe its turned off and that my problem.

Where in the options I can find this?

Thank you,

Charles

PBASS is an option in the stock headunit menu that gives a little more bass boost (for me, it sounds like even lower frequencies). It should be found on the 2010-2013 models; not sure about where it's found on the 2014+ models.

I don't think there is a perfect setting that will apply to everyone. My perfect setting is based on my hearing and how well I can hear within my car. With the former, hearing can be affected by noise damage and the normal progression of age. With the latter, a quieter cabin might require less setting changes than one where there is a lot of external noise.
