Its their instrument cluster (spedometer/tachometer, etc) the three ring looking like cluster in front of you. they call it supervision because it is so well illuminated.
The SX supervision meter has more functionality than the EX meter. I think there is at least seven categories of info such as average mpg, instant mpg, water temp, two trip meters, economy driving meter, average speed. The EX is just basic trip meters if I remember correctly.
