Just out of curiosity, what led you to buy your forte?
I never really liked Kia's cars at first, but then I got an ad in the mail for the forte at $100/month so I said, why not check it out? Test drove it and I just had to have it. In the end i couldn't get it at $100/month but they made me an offer i couldn't refuse haha. And now i'm happy I got this car :)

For me I drove my friends old sx spectra.. it has lots of miles, and after driving it I was like huh car still runs good,
had a few other people I knew that owned kia and all them seemed to be running fine.

Needed a new car and needed it to not cost over 25,000 looked online at serval cars..
test drove a kia sx sedan, while there kept looking at the koup sx in the showroom and it kept drawing me too it ;)
for the price with all the options and its sporty looks the koup was the car for me!

I made a deal and now its mine! hehehe
I think I made a good choice.

Actually, I had seen the Elantra Touring and drove it and it got my juices flowing but it only had a four speed and 2.0 engine. I just happened to drop by the closest Kia dealer to see if they had anything comparable. Seems they had one exactly the way I wanted. Dealer made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

Sadly being 20 years old its hard to find a company that will hand me a loan. I had great credit just my age sucked, originally wanted a subaru or mazda, went to a kia dealership and got approved for an SX happiest day of my life.

Same thing as Benjamin, as a 20 year old it's hard to find dealerships that will approve you for a loan let alone a good rate. I saw the car a few months earlier and actually went to a dealership around my house and was turned down. Then my money situation got a little better so I tried another nearby Kia dealership and the finance manager made a pretty good deal for me and I took it cuz I love this car! So, yea maybe I'm paying a little too much for it, but I rly don't regret it at all! I love driving it everyday and am comfortable financially

I fell in love with the Forte from the moment I laid eyes on it. We have a couple Forte's here at work that I've been able to take out for some quick spins, and I thought that it drove fantastically. I happened to swing by the Kia dealership when I took my parent's Beetle back to my hometown to get snow tires installed. I applied for financing after a quick test drive in a manual LX. The financing was approved and I picked up my Forte the next evening. Had it for 9 days now and Ive got about 1400Km's on it so far. Can't wait to start modifying a few things.

My 98 Civic was pushing 200k miles and with the clutch (and several other expensive components) about to go under I figured I'd just get a new car. Had my eye on the Impreza but read up on the Forte to find it had just about everything I was looking for (minus the AWD, but don't really need that where I live) plus a great warranty at a great price. Haven't regretted my purchase in the least.

My husband pointed out that we had spent $3k on maintenance on the Grand AM in less than a year. I said I could get a car payment that is less than that monthly. I really wanted a VW Rabbit or GTI, but my husband told me I couldn't put money down on one until I promised to check out the options from Kia. I spent more on the Kia than I would have on a used Rabbit, but I got a 125k mile warranty with it and it would cost less to make look cool. The Rabbit would have needed to be lowered before I would be willing to be seen driving it. In the end, for my situation, it would cost about the same in the long run, even though the used Rabbit would be cheaper on monthly payments.

I needed a new reliable car fast since the transmission and many other things were in need of costly repairs. But the failing transmission indicator was the last straw. I spent the weekend searching out small inexpensive cars with decent gas mileage and purchased on a Monday. After comparing and test driving several makes and models the Forte Koup was the best I found. I originally wanted the 4 door but after test driving both I really liked the Koup. I am very happy with my choice and don't think the others compared for the price.

i used to have a bmw z3, and then i bought the forte koup sx. What a bad decision. The sx is a slow ass car, the manual is laggy, and the interior material is cheap. The price and and all the standard options made me get this car. Never again will i get a kia.

I feel your pain, I got turned down so much. I had a credit score of like 730 and I was like YOU REALLY CAN'T APPROVE ME?! Then the KIA guys said I was a good kid and they would take a chance on me. Happy ending :D

My father-in-law bought a Kia Amante in '06. Being a GM man for so many years, I was surprised, but he still swears by his Kia. So, I stopped by the lot and was really impressed by the looks of the Forte Koup. Small, sporty, fuel efficient and at a price that fit my budget.

Kia impressed me!!

I hated kia.. a while back when i was car shopping i wouldnt even have considered going to the dealership. And one day i seen the car in a parking lot and walked up to it and almost shit my pants when i seen it was a kia lol. So eventually ended up takin it out for a test drive when i blew my motor in my civic.. stupid useless piece of shit.. anyway what impressed me the most was the stereo!! pretty good for stock... i had 2 12in sony kickers in my civic.. so i didnt really suffer while waiting to switch it all over. And it was actually the only car i test drove at this time. i fell in love with it... i financed it three days later

I tried the Chevrolet Cruze, Mazda 2 and 3 and even a Jeep Patriot. Forte EX had the best price for the most standard features and the best warranty. I enjoyed the driving and the looks! Heated seats, mirrors and windshield are great! Couldn't ask for more as I live in Quebec.

I had been thinking about getting a new car for about a year; having had a 2000 Kia Sephia. I actually was not really considering a Kia originally, but drove the Mazda3, Subaru Impreza, Hyundai Elantra, Tuscon, Volvo C30. I liked the mazda3 and the tuscon but the pricing was not *that* appealing and the tuscon was too big with too small an engine. (I might have liked the Subaru but the salesman was aweful and made me just want to leave)

I figured since I owned a KIA I would take a look at a few Kias; drove the SX Koup just for the hell of it and ended up loving it. I spent about 2 weeks letting the dealer call me with lower and lower prices and test drove/haggled at another dealership.

Just can't beat what you get from KIA for the money you spend...
