Wheel inserts finally removed

It felt like it took forever but it was worth it. In order to remove the stock SX wheel inserts, you have to remove the wheels, flip them over and use a phillips head screwdriver to unscrew 3 screws on each insert, 15 for each wheel. There was a bunch of caked up dirt underneath the inserts so it was nice to finally get that all cleaned up too.

Let me know what you guys think.

Oh and as a side note, when I had the wheels off, I weighed them and they were 43.5 lbs each...ouch

The 17" Good Year Eagle LS tires that come stock on mine are suppose to weigh 21 lbs. which would put the wheels at 22 lbs. That is if we are talking about the same wheel/tire combo.

I think you mean wheel with mounted tire ; even so thats heavy. Good reason to go aftermarket; check weights at tirerack.com.
wheels and tire weights are in specs.
