My EX has the 4 speed auto transmission, seems like there is sometimes an issue with the gear shift just before 40 mph. The car is usually super quiet, almost like an electric car! However, when there is this issue, the engine gets loud, the rpms get high (around 3kish), and I feel like I have to really gas it before it switches gears.
I see some posts about others having sorta the same tranny issues... So better get them to look at it. I have a Kia dealer that is probably less then 2 miles from my house, but the one I bought from is about 20 miles away. Should I take it back to the dealer that I bought it from or to the one closer to my house? If I take it to the original dealer, I'm kind of stuck there until fix it or whatever. The closer dealer, I can probably get a ride, or even just walk back to my house.
