I’ve got a 21 GT Limited in Canada with this; there are so many differences seemingly between markets, curious who has them?

My 22 has them, it's the steel gray at night those lights look purple on it.

Woah dude... mine does too... it greets me as if it’s welcoming me in... yet it does not unlock when I grab the door handle, I get to play “find the stupid little square black button in the pouring rain” because that part is not illuminated.

My poverty-spec FE barely has interior lighting LOL - no puddle lights or handle lights to speak of on the base model.

I was surprised by them the first time I went out at night- I don’t recall any mention of them anywhere in the specs lol

To summarize the responses so far, in the US market:
GT: 2019-2022
GT-Line: 2023

Yes, I do not recall reading about this before I purchased my 2023 Line and was a bit surprised to see it the first night.

Yes it's a very premium feature to see on a compact car. No mystery why the American brands got out of this segment.

It‘s funny because I leave for work pretty early and it’s dark. I’ll sometimes walk up to the car, nothing happens. Damn, grabbed the wrong keys!

I wonder if 19 sport has them. I guess gt-line was birthed from a mixture of EX and S badges with a blackout option added in.

Not a third gen, but my 2014 Forte has them (and similar courtesy lights on the wing mirrors that come on at the same time)

21 GT_line has them . I had to turn them on they were set off
