Well I couldn't find the answer on the forum, so I'll ask the question here instead of starting another thread...

I plan on getting my girlfriend the factory remote starter for Christmas this year. One issue I want cleared up is if the factory starter will activate the manual climate control system. I know that some cars' factory remote start systems don't activate the climate control unless it is the automatic system (some of my G8 brethren are complaining about this). I haven't actually seen anyone mention this one way or another for the Forte.

Thanks, TeeJay. So what I took from that is when you start your car with the remote starter, the manual HVAC will be activated, just with the settings you had when the car was last turned off?
