I have a 154,400+ on mine now. Several trips back and forth to Birmingham this month while the wife was in the hospital put quite a few on it. She had a heart attack and was in the horse pistol for nine frigging days in the ICU.

I have a 2011 Forte EX. Bought it used from an elderly man in 2016; he purchased it in Alabama and sold it in Pennsylvania when he was visiting relatives. It had ~113K miles in 2016, engine knocked and sounded like a diesel engine so we got a good deal on it. I’m still driving it in 2024, it has almost 215K miles on it, I drive economically and am gentle on the car, do routine maintenance with a local mechanic who has fixed a number of things including the oil valve seal which was leaking and dripped onto the spark plugs, caused the car to only be running on 2 cylinders for idk how long. The CEL shut off after that. Struts, shocks, brakes seem to need replaced more than other vehicles but the car gets about 35 combined and I do 75% highway and 25% city driving. I use full synthetic oil and change the oil every 5k miles. Never had a problem with anything else other than it needing routine maintenance more often than other cars do. I have a 10-year old CX5 but prefer driving the Forte daily as it’s more comfortable and responsive. Only downsides are no cruise control, manual door locks and crank windows in the Forte. But I will not part with it until Casper the Forte gives out.

Well, the wife has been in the hospital for 8 days now. She's unconscious and they don't know if she's going to live or die. I'm about to turn 156,000 miles on my Forte as the 140 mile round trips daily are adding up in a hurry. Any of you that read this and are believers, please pray for her. I'm getting worn out.

Great news, Guys. When I got there yesterday, she was awake and watching TV! When I spoke to her doctor on Friday, he said he was going to try her on a different antibiotic and some steroids. He said he was off for the weekend and if those didn't do something, he was going to be researching and brainstorming with the neurologist to come up with something different. Thank God that He gave Dr. Kahn the right recipe to bring her around. She's very dazed and confused, but at least they took her off most of the life support they had on her and she can communicate with the medical staff now. God is great all of the time and all of the time, God is great.

Well, she's even more clear headed today, so God is still working. Her doctor came in while our daughter and I were there and he said it's going to be another week to two weeks before she can come home. He plans on moving her out of the ICU to a regular room on the rehab floor. She hasn't walked in 11 days now and will have to get some physical therapy. She had a complete knee replacement on December 5th and the only PT she was getting was while she was at home and she was doing great. She didn't even need a walker, just a cane and half the time she was carrying it instead of using it. Now, she'll have to start all over again. The doctor is still angry that he hasn't figured out what exactly caused her downfall, but he's leaning towards the Covid virus and the fact that she has a compromised immune system. Maybe he'll do a study on her yet.

Okay, it's official. Call just turned 156,000+ today. Still running great.
I almost have 8K (8000) miles on my Forte...more then 3 years old...:)

Good lord man! Drive her!!
Primary car is 2023 K5 GT - replaced our 2017 Optima. Both are low mileage. Forte GT is second car - we tried going to just one car because we don't need to drive daily (restaurants and grocery stores are in walking/biking distance) I bought the Forte GT in case the Wife gets stuck somewhere and I need to go get her...:). I was going to get a Forte GT-Line but I wanted the dual outlet exhaust...:)
