So my wife's xmas present to me was a gift certificate valid towards $100 of any thing I wanted to add/modify to my 2010 Forte Koup SX.
I've got some extra xmas cash to so I could kick in about $50 myself. In that price range, what is:
1) the best appearance additions I could get for that
or
2) the best addition for mpg I could get for that (if possible)

I can do any easy to moderate DIY project but nothing extreme or that would void my warranty.

Styling mods around $150...many good looking spoilers, badges, grilles, window tint, paint roof.

Performance wise your options are mainly intake and muffler. Pretty much everything else is more than $150.

As far as performance and the warranty is concerned...you should probably expect all performance mods to affect your warranty. It might not be voided but if you have any mods you may have to argue with your dealership for warranty work. My dealership adjusted my window then I was getting noise from the window. I went back and they said that the noise I was hearing was probably from my aftermarket wheels. Yeah right.

I'd say the AEM Dryflow (Koup-R) drop in if you can.

$60, but you never have to replace it again. It's cheaper to clean than a K&N because it doesn't need the oil kit. You save a bit of gas and it gives you a bit better response. It's the gift that keeps on giving. With the gas savings you can get other mods. It doesn't cost money it saves money!:D

Ok, sounds like an intake is where I want to be.
Any suggestions?

At that price range I would say go with a new grille, K badges or use the money towards a CAI...TurboKit.com is where I would go but you might have to supplement a few extra $$$$....Time to do some chores around the house for some allowance!!!

OK, so I'm guessing the next best thing is getting a performance air filter.
I know of K&N, AEM and Injen. What one is going to give me the best MPG improvement.
