hey guys.. just got my Forte EX last weekend. Although i notice that the car is fairly quiet, i was wondering if investing in noise reduction gadgets would help make it even quieter?

I found this on ebay: moulding

Does anyone have something similar or have they tried to reduce the noise at all?

The most noticeable difference in noise reduction would come from new tires. Everything else will be hardly noticeable, if make any difference at all.

i gotta admit- those "moulding" thingies- i sure see a lot of them being advertised in the singaporian forums.....but then again.......they sell a lot of stuff over there that i havent quite understood.....the crystal encrusted gearshift knob, the crystal lined a/c vents, oh hell- they got so much "bling" it would make any rapper runaway and hide.......
seriously- are you hearing whistling wind sort of noises coming thru your doors?

and if you are hearing "road"noise........well- do some digging around here for posts about sound abatements........there are quite a few here with all sorts of variations of how to fix your noises........
