Which winter rims are best to install on a Koup EX? Obviously they should be metal and hub centric.

When I was negotiating for an EX, one dealer told me they would throw in the 15" rims that come with the base model car. Then another dealer told me they didn't even part numbers for those and that I'd have to install oem rims (which I don't want).

So did anyone actually manage to buy the 15" original Kia rims?

good question. I'm also gonna be looking for some winter wheels and tires soon and I want to know what a good size would be. There's no way I'm using the stock 17"s and goodyears for winter driving. hahaha.

Just going to revive this thread since winter is right around the corner here. Did anyone get some hub centric winter rims for their Kia EX?

Found an excellent set of 16" winter rims and Falken Espia winter tires. See my post in the "Winter's Coming" thread for pics and links.

I bought them through my dealer, from a promotion with Kia Canada (so Kia had specifically recommended this package for my SX Koup). The wheels were shipped with the tires mounted and filled with Nitrogen.

When I drove home last night, I turned on to my street and noticed a very clear shine to the road surface, but didn't think anything of it. Drove the rest of the way to my house without a thought.

I stepped out of the car and almost fell on my ass; it was sheer ice! When I looked out on the street there was a group of teenagers running and sliding their way along.
