When a car manufacturer & employees tell owners/customers number of their vehicles are in there for the exact same issues & their engines & or transmissions are known for the documented known oem/factory problems leaving thousands of owners to experiencing & deal with it. drive your vehicle (still under warranty) & it's ok, keep driving it like usual until your appointment & that I’ll have to meet the criteria for engine replacement by the warranty company/stealership should let you know they know about their defective products & YOU the customer HAVE to meet their criteria to get warranty repairs & if you don't, you're denied & SOL.
This is why I'll never buy a new Kia/Hyundai. The slap & spit in your face along with the meet requirements for new replacement throw away engines & transmissions build to fail especially under warranty only to experience "we'll see if you meet our criteria to replace" responses.
One can take care of their vehicle the best they can & when sh!t happens the owners that take care of things cause it costs thousands & takes hours of hard work to buy only to be slapped & spat in the face & denied warranty repairs cause they "can't reproduce, find the problems & or you didn't use their parts, fluids & services, didn't come in when we the problems1st started & drove around & now you'rehere cause it's worse than before, installed a pine tree air freshener or led light bulb etc so those may have contributed to your problems & therefore voided warranty, but we'll see after our investigation" typical save their own asses replies.
Kia/Hyundai vehicles especially under warranty are failing more than the old 1st & 2nd gen Fortes, Velosters, Genesis, Rios, Elantras.
My old ass 1st gen Koup not a single oem/factory made problems, just the usual maintenance that's it. Also, I don't drive my Koup alot either for the fear I'm looking for problems just by turning it on, & yes I baby the living sh!t outbof my Koup. I don't allow anyone in it with food/drinks muddy ass shoes. Including my own family.
I even have 30gal hefty construction bags covering my drivers seat as to never get it dirty from my 2 jobs. Even from home doing yard, sweaty hard work.
Our Jeep Grand cherokee is an effing money pit told the wife Toyota 4Runner, she insisted Jeep now I've had to rescue her being stranded several times. Chrysler/Jeep Dodge Tipm (engine fuse box) bs known problems & there's no recall but will sell me a new 1 at $1,500.00. A POS part that will leave & continues to leave us stranded, no charge, no power, dead while driving at a stop/yield then all of a sudden turns back on like nothing happened. Has turned off while on the highway going 75mph with no "dumby lights" Xmas tree lights on coasting scary as f*ck then after a few seconds turn the f*ck back on again, like nothing has happened. Jeep dealership won't do anything but cannon blast us to buy new parts. Even after their bs "recall" external fuel pump relay fix, sh!t still turns off whenever the larger external rigged fuel pump relay gets hot that one can't even hold it in their hand effing hot. I work at a slaughter" processing plant" house & stealership. That damn JGC WK2 has new oem/factory parts & still takes a sh!t. Now that Mopar is under strike parts at stealerships are double the price & many of the parts are discontinued but still f*cking need them, like cross over coolant, can't buy oem/factory have to buy eBay Amazon but if that aftermarket causes more problems can't do work on it cause it's not oem & not installed by stealership techs.
Anyways, sorry for the rant. Pisses me off when customers that do take care of extreme high expensive purchases falls apart especially when taken care of & to be met with "if you meet OUR requirements for warranty repairs" is disgusting sickening & bullsh!t.
Time for another vehicle from another manufacturer.
