Hi, anyone who know if you can put this spoiler on 2019 kia forte lxs? Thanks
I saw post here that has a mugen wing its a forte GT though so i was asking him if he did something to the spoiler to fit it. Btw thank you i might just go with a lip spoilerTry to find a local shop that has that in stock and test fit it. Unless someone has done it there's too much speculation.
Sometimes when I go car shopping I'll check out what aftermarket parts are available for it. The Forte isn't exactly a hot ticket item like the Civic, i30, or Veloster, so mods for it are little. In fact most mods for the Forte are mods for the other models that just happen to fit the Forte as well.
Otherwise if you have the money just gonna have to experiment to see what fits and what doesn't.
Appreciate the advise! I checked it out, its placement starts right where the OEM unit does on the top, the sides meet righ up to the edge of the trunk like the OEM unit and on the back side it comes over the top edge just slightly. Kind of hard to explain, but its foot print is just slightly larger than the OEM unit, roughly the same front and side coverage, with a little more coverage on the back. I would've just threw it on myself, but I want it as flush as possible and painted better. My local shop is super fair priced and will hook it up for $150 if I do the prep!Make sure to check that this spoiler is large enough to cover the big square holes in your trunk BEFORE you remove the factory spoiler!!!!
I Hate to be a debbie-downer - but I think you're going to find it doesn't. Hope I'm wrong...
Good luck! I ordered x2 spoilers. That one and another one that had a larger top foot print. After I pulled off the factory spoiler and fitted that one, it didn't cover the holes for me. When it sits at the edge but the top part just didn't have enough surface area to cover the square holes, which are quite sizeable. Luckily I had the 2nd spoiler on hand because I destroyed the factory spoiler during the removal. Lol.Appreciate the advise! Yes the Factory offers one, I actually have one in my stock that I took off a Forte GT Line on a project Forte we built in my Shop you will have to drill holes into your trunk and find out if you can get seals from the parts dept to prevent water from getting into the holes you drill out its brand new has all the hardware minus the seals and instructions .
